Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College’s Athletics, Wellness & Recreation department seeks an Instructor for Module 2 Spin/Cycling who leads high-energy indoor cycling classes in-person and virtual formats, designing workouts for varied fitness levels and tracking performance. Duties include curriculum development, class setup, and ensuring a safe, engaging experience for all participants.

Must hold current CPR/first aid certifications and have a minimum of two years of demonstrated experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and CPR/first aid certifications.
  • Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience.
  • Certification/licenses, as applicable by discipline.
  • Ability to develop and present curriculum for all fitness levels.

Responsibilities

  • Provides instruction to students and community members.
  • Develops and presents a curriculum that accommodates all fitness levels.
  • Sets up before and cleans up after each class.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
