Job summary

ProCare is seeking a full‑time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Altoona, PA team. The role covers outpatient and Early Intervention settings with a diverse caseload including aphasia, dysphagia, pediatrics, and cognitive communication disorders.

The candidate will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with families and caregivers to deliver effective therapy in alignment with physician care plans and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP.
