• Evaluates patients to obtain data for treatment planning.
• Interprets evaluation findings to patients and families.
• Establishes patient schedules with team members.
• Develops and coordinates treatment plans with patient and family.
• Monitors response to intervention and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Assists with equipment and training for augmentative communication devices.
• Participates in discharge planning and home/community programming.
• Documents results of assessments and treatments.
• Supervises students and volunteers as required.
