Horizons Day Treatment-Arch Ford ESC in Jacksonville, AR seeks a Certified SPED Teacher to deliver academic and behavioral interventions. You will implement district curriculum, monitor progress, and contribute to individualized student plans to support success in regular settings.

You’ll differentiate instruction for ALE students, maintain records, and collaborate with counselors and staff to promote positive student outcomes while ensuring safety and classroom order.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and current Arkansas teaching license.
• SPED certification preferred.
• Knowledge of adolescent behavior and psychology.
• Experience with at-risk students encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Teach curriculum and maintain student records.
• Develop differentiated lessons for ALE students.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment.
• Collaborate on SAPs, transition plans and Behavior Plans.
• Adapt instruction based on students’ needs and behaviors.
• Communicate progress with parents and staff.
