Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston is seeking a Special Events Coordinator to support the planning and execution of fundraising, cultivation, and stewardship events. In this collaborative role, the coordinator manages event logistics, timelines, RSVP tracking, collateral, onsite support, and general event administrative tasks to help BGCB meet fundraising goals and engage donors and partners.

Working with the Special Events team and Marketing, this role supports BGCB’s signature events, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; strong communication and organizational skills.
• 1–2 years’ experience in development, communications, public relations, marketing and/or event management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of Raiser’s Edge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates event timelines, budgets, and task assignments.
• Oversees onsite event production, setup, execution, and post-event follow-up.
• Supports donor and sponsor communications, RSVP tracking, and guest management.
