Qualifications

• Valid Iowa teaching license with special education endorsement PK-12.
• Demonstrate effectiveness in oral and written communications.
• Experience in an urban school district.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily lessons aligned to state and district standards to meet student needs.
• Establish and maintain behavior standards to support learning.
• Collaborate in PLCs to plan instruction, analyze data, and create assessments.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate IEPs.
• Monitor and use data to guide instruction and communicate progress with families.
• Support eight Iowa Teaching Standards through reflective practice.
