Qualifications

• Masters degree in Special Education is required.
• Current NYSED Special Education certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual or group educational instruction to children in school, preschool, or early intervention programs.
• Deliver educational instruction as mandated in the IEP or IFSP.
• Assess and document the progress of each student through formal and informal tests and measures.
• Create materials and lesson plans.
• Oversee teaching assistants and aides, as needed.
