SAU 80, Shaker Regional School District is seeking a General Special Education Teacher for Belmont Elementary School in New Hampshire. NH Certification or eligibility in endorsement 1900 is required.

Qualifications

• Training in multi-sensory reading approaches and specialized instruction in reading and math.
• Willingness to participate in district-sponsored trainings (e.g. CPI, Wilson, LIPS, Orton-Gillingham).
• Proper NHDOE certification/eligibility to teach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction using appropriate resources, materials, technology, and strategies.
• Differentiate instruction to match students' functioning levels.
• Maintain respectful interactions with students and staff.
• Establish clear classroom rules, routines, and expectations.
• Administer informal and formal assessments per state regulations.
• Collect and interpret data to adjust instruction and report progress to parents.
• Incorporate assessment results into Reevaluation Reports and IEP planning.
• Maintain ongoing communication regarding students and program.
