Qualifications

• Must hold NJ instructional certificate and Students with Disabilities/Teacher of the Handicapped certification
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Ability to modify curriculum based on IEP goals and objectives
• Ability to work in teams to meet academic expectations
• Collaborate with school leaders to collect, analyze, and use data to modify instruction
• Effective English communication, both oral and written
• Create a nurturing, positive classroom climate with clear routines and management
• Knowledge of the NJSLS and NJSLA
• Strong classroom management
