Qualifications

• Must hold NJ instructional certificate for the position.
• Must hold Students with Disabilities Certification or Teacher of the Handicapped Certification.
• Experience working with students with special needs.
• Ability to modify curriculum to IEP goals.
• Ability to motivate and work in teams to achieve academic expectations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of the NJSLS and NJSLA.
• Excellent classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school leaders to collect, analyze, and use data to modify the instructional program.
• Provide individualized instruction based on IEP goals and objectives.
