Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and identify learning issues to maximize learning
• Manage IEP process: Referral, Eligibility, IEP Development, Placement
• Assist students and staff with IEPs and behavior plans
• Develop and administer curriculum aligned with district goals
• Serve as liaison with families and coordinate with outside agencies
• Create safe, inclusive classroom environments
• Develop lesson plans and materials for individual and small groups
• Collaborate with IEP teams to develop and share IEPs with staff
• Encourage parental involvement and maintain communication
• Ensure compliance with district policies and laws
• Participate in professional meetings and record-keeping
