Job summary

Olathe Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs for patients from newborn to geriatric across inpatient and outpatient settings at multiple sites including Olathe Hospital and Paola campuses.

The role involves conducting videofluoroscopic swallow studies, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, documenting evaluations and progress, educating patients and families, and supervising rehab staff.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in KS or MO (or eligible) is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients across ages from newborn to geriatric.
• Plan and implement treatment programs for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
• Conduct videofluoroscopic swallow studies in Radiology with radiology staff.
• Educate patients, families, and nursing staff on goals and home management.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
