Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a SharePoint Developer to join our team supporting a large Federal agency. This full-time, mid-level role is based in Chantilly, VA and focuses on developing and modernizing SharePoint and web applications.

You will work with PowerApps, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and collaborate with Government staff, DBAs, and QA to deliver secure, scalable solutions. CGS offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SharePoint development experience with production deployments.
• Experience building production-grade PowerApps Canvas and Portal solutions.
• UI/UX front-end design experience with PowerApps Canvas and responsive forms.
• SharePoint Online development and Agile team experience.
• At least three years of relevant work on systems used by clients.
• Knowledge of HTML, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, XML, Oracle 12c and related technologies.
• Familiarity with IIS, web interfaces, security, and relational databases.
• Strong editing skills and ability to coordinate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SharePoint-based solutions to meet client requirements.
• Translate requirements into technical designs for programs and data flows.
• Test software with test data and validate results.
• Collaborate with Government staff, DBAs, and QA for quality outcomes.
• Develop and maintain mobile apps for Android/iOS as needed.
• Rewrite legacy ASP apps to ASP.NET where applicable.
• Ensure secure access procedures and robust data protection.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and review work.
