Job summary

Colony Grill is seeking friendly servers to deliver exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced setting. You will take orders, enter them in the POS, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining clean sections.

Qualifications

• Experience as a server in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Ability to memorize ingredients across the full menu and seasonal items.
• Knowledge of wine, cocktails and beer is beneficial.
• Must be able to stand/walk and carry trays for extended periods.
• Must maintain a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assure knowledge of colony grill history, menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Engage guests to customize service and address special requests.
• Take food and beverage orders efficiently and accurately.
• Enter orders accurately in POS system.
• Deliver food/drink items with exceptional hospitality in a timely fashion.
• Help set up, maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of your section.
• Run food as needed to tables, including teammates’ tables.
• Collect guest payments and provide change promptly.
• Abide by safe serving/liquor laws and Colony Grill policies.
• Follow cleaning procedures and health code standards.
