Job summary

CHICA at The Venetian in Las Vegas seeks a proactive Server Assistant to support the service team in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment. You will collaborate with servers, maintain station cleanliness, and assist guests with their needs, from water service to timely table resets.

This role requires strong English communication, the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Always maintain a professional attitude and courteous demeanor.
• Maintain service stations and perform side work before, during and after shifts.
• Follow proper service procedures.
• Maintain communication with team members and front door staff.
• Assist with table maintenance discreetly during dining.
• Use non-verbal cues to gauge guest satisfaction.
• Ensure smooth transitions with full hands in and out.
• Assist neighboring teammates with service.
• Reset tables within two minutes of guests departure.
• Bus courses according to Restaurant Service Standards Reference.
• Complete tasks as directed by management and adapt to changing duties.
