Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol is seeking a part-time Security Officer to protect guests and team members, safeguard assets, and maintain a safe environment. The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of guest service experience, and compliance with licensing, background checks, and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year guest service experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Federal, State and Virginia Lottery.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Gaming industry experience preferred; 21+ years of age.
• CPR/AED certification and Bloodborne Pathogen training required.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.
• English required; ability to communicate professionally with guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security across the entire property.
• Ensure safety of patrons and employees during each shift.
• Safeguard company assets during shift times.
• Prepare detailed incident reports clearly and precisely.
• Assist in emergencies and respond to guest inquiries and directions.
• Escort guests when necessary and provide property/event information.
• Adhere to Virginia Lottery Regulations and internal policies.
