Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking qualified teachers for Special Education, Middle and High School Math, and ELA-S roles. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis via our job board at careers.dpsk12.org.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
• Master's degree required only for Concurrent Enrollment positions.
• Colorado teaching license required; CDE specs apply.

Responsibilities

• Counsels students to encourage achievement.
• Monitors and reinforces student conduct per policy.
• Observes, evaluates and reports student progress.
• Prepares lessons per district curriculum guidelines.
• Adapts teaching methods to diverse learners.
• Instructs individuals and groups using varied methods.
• Sets clear lesson objectives and projects.
• Admins tests, assigns grades and reports progress.
• Prepares attendance and activity reports for admins.
• Communicates with parents and staff to resolve issues.
