Job summary

Paterson Public Schools is seeking a qualified science teacher with a New Jersey instructional certificate and a science endorsement. Qualifications

• Hold a New Jersey Instructional certificate in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:27.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. Title 6 Chapter 11 with a Science endorsement and other appropriate endorsement(s) for the position held (N.J.A.C. 6:11-6.1, 6.2).
• Provide evidence of a valid driver’s license with no serious violations.
• Knowledge of NJSLS for Science, specifically Chemistry or Physics.

• Excellent experience in teaching and working with students in science.
• Demonstrate knowledge of science concepts, safety, and instructional strategies.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, administration, and the community.
