Job summary

The role involves providing and supervising educationally related therapy services, collaborating to develop and implement IEP goals, and leading in therapeutic interventions across settings.

The successful candidate will hold a WA Educator Staff Associate certificate in Occupational Therapy, work with diverse students and families,

Qualifications

Must hold a WA Educator Staff Associate certificate in Occupational Therapy.
Ability to interact positively with students and families from diverse cultures, languages, and backgrounds.
Demonstrated knowledge of/commitment to best practices in physical therapy and state/federal standards.

Responsibilities

Attend all relevant professional development and training opportunities to achieve position objectives.
Willingness to provide and supervise therapy services including developmental therapy, therapeutic exercise, and gait/functional training.
Assess growth, development and effects of conditions and collaborate with teachers on IEP goals.
Provide resources and model strategies for other team members in physical therapy interventions.
Be a member of the building’s leadership team and align with district policies.
