Responsibilities

• Design and provide educationally relevant speech-language therapy aligned with IEP goals.
• Conduct screenings and interpret results for new students.
• Serve as case manager for identified speech-only students; prepare reports and required documentation.
• Communicate results clearly to families and staff, verbally and in writing.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
• Document progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Help develop measurable educational goals and participate in assessments.
• Use positive behavioral strategies to support student independence.
