Job summary

Montgomery County ESC in Ohio seeks a part-time Speech Therapist to design and provide educationally relevant speech-language therapy aligned with IEP goals at the Regional Center.

You will conduct screenings, manage identified students' cases, report results, collaborate with teachers, and document progress to support student independence.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board license.
• Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services license as a school speech-language pathologist.
• Knowledge of evidence-based speech-language therapy techniques.
• Experience with IEP development, case management, and progress documentation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as case manager for identified speech-only students; prepare reports, prior written notices, EMIS coding, and other required documentation.
• Communicate evaluation results clearly to families and staff, both orally and in writing.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
• Document therapy progress and modify interventions as needed.
• Help develop educational goals that are measurable, attainable, and relevant.
• Participate in team meetings and comprehensive assessments to plan appropriate services.
