Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide contracted services across elementary, middle, and high school settings in New Mexico. This role emphasizes collaborative, student-centered therapy to help students reach their communication goals.

You will assess, plan, and implement evidence-based interventions, participate in IEP meetings, and support teachers and families with strategies and accommodations.

Qualifications

• Active and valid SLP license for New Mexico.
• Experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; flexible across ages and sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to each student's IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for state and district compliance.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations.
• Communicate progress and strategies clearly to educators, administrators, and families.
• Offer support to classroom teachers with accommodations and strategies.
• Engage in school-wide initiatives that promote inclusive learning and communication.
