The Amherst-Pelham Regional School District is seeking a full-time speech-language pathologist to support secondary students in a collaborative school setting.

The role involves direct services for receptive/expressive language, fluency, articulation, voice, and related areas, along with assessment, IEP participation, and reporting. Candidates with MA SLP licensure and strong teamwork skills are preferred.

Formación

• S&LP licenses by the applicable oversight boards (Board of Health).
• MA DESE certification/license as a Speech Language Pathologist, All levels.
• Bilingual SLPs (English/Spanish) highly preferable but not required.
• Experience in a public school setting is highly preferable but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct services addressing receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, articulation, aural rehabilitation, oral motor intervention, auditory processing, social communication in individual and small groups.
• Provide therapy, treatment planning and implementation, and consultation.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and reports, participate in IEP Team meetings, write IEPs and progress reports, and complete Medicaid billing documentation.
• Provide direct speech and language services in general education settings, service provider offices, or in collaboration with other service providers.
• Deliver services through a collaborative, transdisciplinary model across the curriculum.
• Serve on the diagnostic team with differential diagnosis, assessment, and educational planning for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
