Qualifications

• Maryland Office of Child Care requirements for Preschool and School Age Teacher.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Reliable availability for both portions of the split shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage school-age children during before- and after-school hours.
• Plan age-appropriate activities, games, projects, and enrichment experiences.
• Support homework, literacy, STEM, creative activities, and independent interests.
• Encourage positive peer relationships, independence, and problem-solving.
• Maintain consistent routines and positive behavior guidance.
• Provide attentive supervision during arrivals, departures, and transitions.
• Maintain required attendance and classroom documentation.
• Build positive relationships and communicate with families.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Follow Maryland Office of Child Care licensing requirements.
