Job summary

A childcare organization in South Lake Tahoe is seeking Assistant Teachers to facilitate activities for children from infants to school age. Candidates must have at least 6 postsecondary units in Early Childhood Education or a related field. This full-time position ensures a positive and safe environment for children while engaging in developmental curriculum. Benefits include medical and dental coverage, a retirement plan, and paid time off. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a group care environment is preferred.
• Ability to work alongside colleagues and maintain a professional team environment.
• Bilingual/multilingual language preference based on center needs.

• Support implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Ensure proper supervision, positive interactions, and compliance.
• Visually inspect environment for hazards to maintain safety.
