Job summary

Resource Label Group in Sandy, UT is seeking a dependable production associate to support our labeling operations. The role involves repetitive lifting (up to 75 lb), box/tape assembly, forklift/pallet jack use, and standing for long periods while ensuring accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include reading production tickets, performing rewind make-ready, quality checks, splices, and maintaining a neat work area.

Qualifications

Must apply written and verbal instructions to machine setup.
Must catch mistakes and produce top quality product; be punctual.
Must be a self-starter and dependable.
Must cooperate and communicate well with coworkers and supervisors.
Must have good math skills.

Responsibilities

Reads production tickets and notifies supervisor of discrepancies.
Locates quality control sheets and places samples for reference during rewinding and inspection.
Performs rewind machine make-ready and necessary adjustments.
Completes final checklist as required in procedures.
Understands over/under run limitations.
Runs job quickly while checking for flags, missing labels, or defects.
Keeps quality as a priority and minimizes waste.
May adjust splices to maintain sellable product quality.
Confers with supervisor when unsure about quality decisions.
Creates core labels with pertinent information (PO, P/N).
Maintains safety knowledge and follows ISO procedures.
Keeps equipment and work area neat and orderly.
Assists in other production areas when needed.
