CITITRENDS is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate product knowledge to achieve customer satisfaction. The role requires a proactive, vigilant individual who communicates effectively and works well in a dynamic retail environment.

The Sales Associate will contribute to a positive work culture, assist with merchandising and stock management, and support loss prevention efforts while maintaining a professional appearance and customer-friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks.
• Handles maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provides proper customer service such as greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing customers in a timely fashion, and thanking customers for shopping at store.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Maintains professional appearance with name tag.
• Assists management in merchandising on the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Supports Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures and reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
