Job summary

Five Below is seeking part-time Sales Associates to join our store team. You will deliver outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and operate registers with accuracy. You’ll keep shelves stocked, support promotions, and help create a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Ideal candidates are 16 or older, flexible, tech-savvy with cash registers and handheld/mobile devices, and capable of handling customer questions professionally. Training and a positive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, handheld and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: acknowledge customers and provide assistance.
• Understand and meet customer needs with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns and offer alternatives to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management about restocking and feedback.
