Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate at TJ Maxx Store Mount Pleasant, MI. You will deliver a high-quality customer experience, process transactions, and support merchandising and store operations to drive sales and maintain a welcoming environment.

You will collaborate with team members, adapt to changing store needs, and uphold safety and loss-prevention standards while contributing to a positive store culture.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows procedures.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Keeps the sales floor clean and organized and prepares merchandise for display.
• Performs store recovery and supports loss prevention initiatives.
• Follows labor laws and store policies.
• Contributes to achieving shrink reduction goals.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
