Job summary

Shrimp Basket is hiring a server to provide friendly, professional service for food and beverages in a busy restaurant. You will take orders, ring them in via POS, and ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires handling cash, serving alcohol responsibly, and keeping work areas clean and stocked. Applicants must be of legal drinking age and able to pass required training, including ServSafe and Responsible Vendor programs.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Able to pass Responsible Vendor test with 90%+.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
• Must be able to make change and handle payments.
• Good command of English, verbal and written.
• Pass ServSafe Food Handler training.
• Ability to work varied hours including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take orders for food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks.
• Prepare orders for beverage and food items.
• Ring orders into a POS system accurately.
• Suggestively sell food and beverages to guests at tables.
• Refill drinks and handle payments; maintain own cash bank.
• Maintain side-work and restaurant cleanliness per policy.
• Clear and reset tables; assist with bar setup and stations.
