Job summary

The Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a dependable Barback/Busser to support our food service operations in Albuquerque. You will assist servers by clearing tables, restocking, delivering dishes, and helping with room service when needed.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 lbs, work quickly in a busy setting, and maintain high hygiene standards. Training and certification in food handling will be provided upon hire.

• Knowledge of service ware, setting tables, and proper removal of soiled service ware.

Responsibilities

• Clean up spilled food, drinks and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash.
• Carry food, dishes, trays, and silverware from kitchens and supplies departments to serving counters.
• Carry trays from tables and booths with soiled dishes, glassware and silverware to kitchen and dish room.
• Fill beverage and ice dispensers.
• Maintain adequate supplies of clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays.
• Replenish supplies of food and equipment at steam tables and service bars.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes to kitchens for cleaning.
• Demonstrate sense of urgency when greeting guests and turning tables.
• Assist in running food to tables and lounge.
• Assist with room service orders to guest rooms when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
