Job summary

Excel Rehab and Sports, an Alliance Physical Therapy Partner, seeks a Full Time Rehab Tech (Physical Therapy Aide) in Chattanooga, TN. The technician works under the supervision of the Clinic Director and therapists to prepare treatment areas, assist patients, and support the therapy plan.

The role includes transporting patients, obtaining supplies, keeping therapy areas clean, and performing light clerical tasks to support front office operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Prior healthcare experience or current physical therapy student preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and assist therapists and assistants.
• Transport patients to and from Rehabilitation Services departments.
• Assist with patient treatments and clerical tasks.
• Maintain clean and orderly therapy areas and manage supplies.
• Communicate with patients and families to promote care and safety.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are ready for use and report needs promptly.
