OGD Overhead Garage Door is seeking a Dispatch & Field Support Specialist to coordinate technician schedules and provide on-site technical troubleshooting. The role blends dispatch with hands-on support to keep residential garage door service running smoothly.

Ideal candidates are calm under pressure with a problem-solving mindset and a working knowledge of garage door systems, openers, and common repair issues. Office-based in Fort Worth, TX with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing, replacing, and selling residential garage doors and openers.
• Direct field experience as a residential garage door technician or in a closely related install/repair trade.
• Comfort with dispatch/scheduling software and CRM systems (ServiceTitan experience a plus).

Responsibilities

• Dispatch & Scheduling: Manage the daily dispatch board, assigning and adjusting technician routes based on job urgency, location, and skill match.
• Monitor job status in real time and proactively re-route or re-prioritize as delays, cancellations, or emergencies arise.
• Communicate schedule changes clearly to technicians and customers.
• Maintain accurate job records and status updates in the service management system.
