Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking an attorney with 3–5 years of experience in real estate transactional matters in the Denver area. The role requires handling structuring, term sheet negotiation, diligence, review of title and survey, approvals, closings and post-closing agreements.

Strong research and writing skills, a collaborative approach, and prior law firm exposure are important assets. Ideal candidates will have experience in acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, zoning and related land use

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in real estate transactional matters.
• Ability to handle all stages of a transaction, from structuring and term sheet negotiation through diligence, title and survey review, approvals, closings, and post-closing agreements.
• Strong research, writing skills, and an academic record required.
• Team player with a collaborative approach and high motivation.
• Law firm experience preferred.
• Experience in acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, zoning, land use, construction, tax appeals and condemnation, easements, subdivision and land use law, common interest communities, and local government matters, is preferred.
• Experience in structuring and negotiating financing transactions, including real estate-secured loans, bridge and construction financings, joint ventures, capital partnerships, preferred equity arrangements and deferred purchase price structures, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of real estate transactions from structuring and negotiation to diligence, title review, and closings.
• Coordinate approvals, post-closing agreements, and documentation with clients and counterparties.
• Conduct in-depth research and prepare comprehensive written submissions and agreements.
• Collaborate with partners and clients in a team-based environment to move transactions forward.
