Jobot, a national AmLaw200 firm with a NYC real estate practice, seeks a Real Estate Associate to handle high-end tenant representation and sophisticated lease work in New York. You will draft, review, and negotiate leases, advise clients on acquisitions, financing, development, and leasing, and manage closing logistics with a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has a JD, state bar admission, and 2–4 years of real estate transactions experience, especially leasing, with strong communication

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in the state.
• 2–4 years of real estate transactions experience with leasing focus.
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial lease agreements.
• Strong knowledge of real estate law and related statutes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease agreements and amendments.
• Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions.
• Advise clients on legal aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and leasing.
• Coordinate and manage closing logistics for real estate transactions.
• Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and other transaction parties.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in real estate regulations and trends.
• Collaborate with the legal team on complex real estate transactions and leasing matters.
