Job summary

Pennsy Supply, a CRH Company, is seeking a Ready-Mix Concrete Driver for the East Shore transportation role, based out of Lebanon, Mount Joy, or Middletown, PA. The position involves safe operation of concrete trucks and delivery to construction sites, with potential night or weekend shifts as needed.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class B, a current DOT physical, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Strong safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license, Class B or better.
• Must possess a current DOT physical card.
• Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times.
• Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. Safety Manual.
• Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites, as specified, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain communication with dispatcher regarding deliveries and special instructions.
• Ensure proper loading and signing of delivery tickets.
• Keep the mixer truck clean and maintained in safe condition.
• Report any equipment issues or unsafe conditions to supervision.
