Job summary

Best in Recruiting is assisting a client in seeking an Accountant to manage financial records, prepare tax documents, and support clients across manufacturing, nonprofit, and restaurant sectors. You will prepare financial statements, trial balances, journal entries, and bank reconciliations, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Experience with after-tax payroll and tax software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, trial balances, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with tax returns (business, nonprofit, individual, sales, payroll).
• Provide support to diverse clients across manufacturing, nonprofit, and restaurant sectors.
