Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our full-time team in the Schuylkill County area. You will provide patient care under a licensed Physical Therapist, document treatments, and educate patients and families while collaborating with a multidisciplinary group.

The role requires an Associate degree in Physical Therapy, valid licensure, CPR certification, and a willingness to travel to all locations. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and professional development.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Valid license, registration, or permit to practice in state of operation.
• CPR certification must be valid while employed in a clinical role.
• Licensed driver who can travel to all business locations.
• Ability to educate patients and families in home safety and equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and documents treatment per physician orders and policy.
• Maintains organized and timely treatment notes and prioritizes interventions.
• Educates and counsels patients and families on care plans and safety.
• Presents patient information to supervising therapist and updates team on status.
• Delivers skilled treatment within agency and payer parameters.
• Collaborates with team members on treatment planning and intervention.
• Completes daily notes and required forms to prevent interruptions.
• Attends agency meetings and participates in committees as assigned.
• Negotiates patient participation in treatment and scheduling.
