Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. in Huntsville, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a patient-centered care team.

This full-time, on-site role provides treatment under a licensed physical therapist, with thorough documentation and collaboration across disciplines. Compensation is posted per-point with a $10,000 bonus; candidates will hold an Associate degree in PTA, Texas license, CPR, and be able to travel to all locations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Must hold a valid Texas PTA license or permit.
• CPR certification required during employment.
• Must be a licensed driver and able to travel to all business locations.
• Ability to educate patients and families on home safety and medical equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and documents treatment per physician orders and agency policy.
• Documents interventions, approaches, and treatment priorities.
• Educates and counsels patients to support outcomes.
• Presents patient information to supervising therapist and maintains status updates.
• Provides skilled treatment within agency and payer guidelines.
• Attends agency meetings and participates in team planning.
