AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at our Fort Worth Office. This full-time position supports licensed Physical Therapists, manages a caseload across Fort Worth and surrounding areas, and follows agency productivity standards.

Salary ranges from $81,600 to $99,700 annually based on experience, with a $20,000 bonus. The role is paid on a per-point basis, and benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), and other programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Must hold a valid license/permit to practice in the state of operation.
• CPR certification must be valid while employed in a clinical role.
• Must be a licensed driver able to travel to all business locations.
• Ability to educate patients and families in home safety and medical equipment safety.
• Ability to implement care plans and communicate findings to PT/physician.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care and documents treatment in accordance with physicians orders, agency policy and patient needs.
• Documents interventions, approaches, strategies, materials and treatment priorities.
• Delivers organized patient treatment including advising, educating and counseling the patient.
• Presents patient information to supervising therapist and keeps team informed of status.
• Provides skilled treatment within agency and payer parameters.
• Seeks assistance from team members in planning and intervention.
• Completes daily notes and forms to prevent interruptions in care.
• Meets productivity standards and uses hours efficiently.
• Attends agency meetings and committees as assigned.
• Negotiates patient participation in treatment times and plans.

What You Need to Know

The Physical Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, is responsible for providing treatment to patients, functioning as a member of the interdisciplinary team, provides patient and family education and counseling regarding concerns, planning, implementing and modifying treatment procedures, maintaining appropriate documentation according to policies and procedures and current standards of practice. The Physical Therapist Assistant manages a caseload in conjunction with supervising therapist and in accordance with agency productivity standards,

attends and participates in patient and other conferences and agency in-services as assigned.

Responsibilities:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will:

• Provides patient care and documents treatment in accordance with physicians orders, agency policy and patient needs.
• Documents appropriate interventions, approaches, strategies, materials and establishing treatment priorities.
• Provides organized and efficient patient treatment which includes advising, educating and counseling the patient.
• Presents pertinent patient information to supervising therapist and keeps team informed of patient status.
• Provides appropriate skilled treatment to patients according to patient needs and within the parameters set by the agency and payer.
• Seeks and accepts assistance from team members in treatment planning and intervention.
• Accurately documents, completes and submits daily notes, assists with other required forms in a timely manner to prevent interruptions in patient care.
• Meets agency productivity standards and uses work hours efficiently.
• Attends and participates in agency meetings and committees as assigned.
• Appropriately negotiates the patient' s participation in treatment, treatment times and treatment plans.
