Job summary

Interim Healthcare in Houston seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to service patients in the Houston area. You will work under the supervision of the treating physical therapist and contribute to the plan of care within the home health setting.

Responsibilities include assessing patient progress, documenting outcomes, educating patients and families, and coordinating with the care team to support safe discharge. Weekly pay and supplies are provided.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant in the practice state.
• Two years PTA experience in relevant patient populations preferred.
• CPR certification current and maintained as required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient.
• Works under the supervision of the treating physical therapist and plan of care.
• Assists in development and evaluation of the plan of care with patient and family.
• Provides services ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of care.
• Document patient progress, response to treatment, and goals achieved.
