Job summary

Rivetus Team in ShorePointe, St. Clair Shores, MI is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy under a Physical Therapist. You will help develop and progress patient treatment plans and document care to support continuity of care and reimbursement guidelines.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program and Michigan licensure. The position is full-time, Tue-Sat with a weekend shift pay incentive, offering competitive pay and benefits including health coverage

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Michigan licensure or eligibility as required by the State of Michigan.
• Ability to exercise professional judgment and initiative in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Document care to maintain medical records and billing requirements.
• Participate in patient care conferences and discharge planning.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for team-based care.
• Maintain PTA clinical expertise through continued education.
• Supervise students and volunteers as assigned.
