Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Physical Therapist in resident care at an Edisto Post-Acute facility in Orangeburg, SC. You will assist with mobility activities and therapy, document progress, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in PTA and a South Carolina PTA license, with preference for experience in fast-paced healthcare settings and a strong desire

Qualifications

• PTA degree from an accredited college/university.
• Valid, unencumbered SC PTA license (Required).
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-admissions healthcare setting preferred.
• A strong desire to help residents reach their highest level of functioning.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with patient care related to physical activities.
• Help residents improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Encourage and motivate residents throughout their rehab journey.
• Document treatments and resident progress accurately.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional care.
