Job summary

Central Georgia Technical College seeks an associate-level Psychology instructor to teach in classroom and online formats. The role includes developing syllabi, lesson plans, and setting program goals while ensuring effective teaching techniques and accurate grade records.

Occasional travel within the college’s service area is required; future split duties may include Warner Robins and other CGTC locations. Spring 2027 start.

Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Or earned master’s with a teaching concentration (18 graduate hours) in Psychology.

Responsibilities

• Provide associate-level Psychology instruction to students in classroom settings.
• Develop program goals and course objectives and prepare syllabi and lesson plans.
• Utilize appropriate teaching techniques and testing/grading procedures; maintain grade books.
• Maintain records, complete reports, and travel within the college service area as needed.
• May serve as lead instructor mentoring adjunct faculty in the discipline.
