Job summary

CCMS & Associates is seeking a 1099 Residential or Commercial Field Adjuster in Texas to perform field inspections and claim investigations using Xactimate. The role requires prior property adjusting experience and a valid Texas adjuster license, with access to your own estimating software.

The candidate will manage statements, prepare loss-related documents, and provide confident, accurate coverage analyses while maintaining strong client communications and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting experience.
• Maintains own estimating software - Xactimate preferred (Cotality a plus).
• Working computer with internet access and Microsoft Word.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential and commercial field property inspections utilizing Xactimate software.
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses and by interviewing officials and inspecting damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation with well-supported reserve report.
• Review applicable coverage forms and endorsements and provide a thorough analysis in a documented report to the client.
