Job summary

Qualifications

• Six (6) months previous housekeeping/dietary/maintenance experience
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe food handling and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas, including hand hygiene, cross contamination prevention, and temperature checks as directed.
• Prepares daily meals and supports preparation according to weekly menus or supervisor instructions; adjusts recipes for census fluctuations.
• Provides/serves food to patients, visitors, and staff with a pleasant demeanor.
• Performs dishwashing and sanitation for all items used in preparation and serving of meals.
