Job summary

Valley Hope Norton is seeking a PRN Support Staff Floater to join our dedicated team. This role supports dietary and housekeeping duties in a residential treatment setting, ensuring safe food handling and clean environments.

This position requires at least six months of housekeeping or dietary experience and a valid driver's license. Starting pay is $17+ per hour, with on-site, part-time responsibilities and opportunities to support patients and staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months previous housekeeping/dietary/maintenance experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe food handling and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas.
• Prepares and supports daily meals according to menus and census.
• Serves food to patients, visitors, and staff with a friendly demeanor.
• Stores food items per guidelines and regulations.
• Performs dishwashing and general sanitation.
• Provides safety/hygiene instruction to patients assigned to duties.
• Performs cleaning tasks per schedule and equipment guidelines.
• Reports safety hazards to management.
• Adheres to Valley Hope policies and procedures.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
