Job summary

Next-Level-Urgent-Care- is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide primary and episodic care, independently and with a clinical team, following protocols set by leadership. You will focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and coordinate care with other medical professionals.

You will conduct comprehensive exams, order diagnostic tests, interpret results, and prescribe medications while adhering to state regulations and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Board certified as a nurse practitioner with current state licensure.
• DEA licensure with no restrictions.
• Clinical experience in emergency, urgent care, or ambulatory clinic settings.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations.
• Follow protocols and medical authority when providing care.
• Perform comprehensive physical exams and assessments for urgent, emergent, and non-urgent cases.
• Order and perform tests and procedures to augment findings.
• Define and document differential diagnoses and most likely plan.
• Collaborate with supervising physician for diagnostic and therapeutic actions.
• Interpret lab, radiology, and ECG results to guide care.
• Prescribe medications with proper patient instruction.
• Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team; document data for reports.
