The position requires a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, an Alabama P-grade teaching certificate, and compliance with HQ/ESSA requirements. Strong collaboration with parents and the community is essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited institution.
• Valid Alabama State teaching certificate with a "P" for grade level.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must meet NCLB HQ or ESSA requirements.
• Must meet suitability criteria under Alabama Child Protection Act.
• Alternatives to qualifications may be acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates support for the system mission, goals and priorities.
• Determines individual and class needs consistent with district and state instructional goals.
• Establishes objectives and plans learning experiences that comply with local and state curriculum guidelines.
• Delivers instructional activities using diverse techniques and promotes positive student interaction.
• Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior to facilitate teaching and learning.
• Performs entry level diagnosis of student needs and progress; designs assessments and maintains records.
• Seeks assistance of specialists as needed and collaborates with staff to promote student learning.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to rules, policies, and laws.
