Job summary

Premium Guard Inc. (PGI) seeks an injection molding operator to setup, adjust, troubleshoot and document process parameters for plastic molding presses. You will maintain presses, lubricate equipment and ensure safe, efficient production with quality parts.

The role requires reading drawings, performing inspections, and supporting changeovers and mold maintenance as part of a collaborative team in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Reads/interprets various forms of information to determine production requirements.
• Sets up, adjusts and documents process parameters; maintains molds and equipment.
• Performs quality checks at start-up and during operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic injection molding presses and ancillary equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Document activities and maintain production records and changeovers.
• Assist with mold maintenance, cleaning and minor repairs.
• Support team with tooling and process improvements.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
